Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp has been an Canadian actor for a long time. The actress is famous for the roles she played on television and films. Her work is well-known on both Canadian as well as American Television. Emily became interested in the acting profession when she was just 12. When she was 12, Emily visited her elder sister Katie in the film studio. After discovering her enthusiasm for the acting world Emily decided to enroll in acting classes and started auditioning. After some commercials, which were successful, she was soon cast in the Canadian children's horror television series Are You terrified to be in the Dark? It was just one scene, without dialog. Her debut break came at the age of 15, when she was cast in the WB's Glory Days as a regular. The show ended up being cancelled after just nine episodes, Emily's acting caught the eye of Dawson's Creek writer Greg Berlanti who cast her in his TV show Everwood. Emily has also been a dancer as well as a photographer. She was named among the top 20 Teen's actresses. In Maxim's Hot 100 2014 list ranked Emily at 51.
