Felicity Jones is a British actor best known for the role of Jane Hawking. She played her role on The Theory of Everything, that was critically acclaimed. Jones has been in films, plays as well as television since she was 12 years old. Her first role was in The Treasure Seekers, a film on television. Later, in The Worst Witch she played Ethel Hallow. Then came Weirdsistersisters, which was a sequel to The Worst Witch. She played Young Ruth in her first film Flashbacks of a Fool and then went on to star in many movies. Her popularity grew due to her role in films such as The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. It was however her character on The Theory of Everything' that won her an Oscar award for the very first time. The biopic was based on the life of physicist Stephen Hawking, and Jones was highly praised by viewers and critics for her flawless portrayal of Hawking's former wife. Inferno was the Tom Hanks thriller was her following part. Jones was awarded the title British Artist of Year 2016 by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles for her extraordinary talent and work to the film.
